The V-Day event brought me more than just roses and chocolates.
I went to an Anti-Valentine’s party,
And came back with a baby!
Another secret?
The father of my child seems to be happily married,
Has a cute little daughter.
And yet, steals the breath out of me!
Everything in my mind screams ‘no.’
But my body says ‘yes,’ ‘yes,’ ‘yes,’ and ‘more.’

Well, it was just supposed to be a one night stand.
Until, the morning sickness kicks in,
And I realize I am pregnant with a stranger’s baby.

I can’t tell him about this.
I just can’t.
I’ll have to do this on my own.
Until…
He shows up at my office.
But can I trust him after that one night stand?
Jesus, he was married, and yet, comfortable picking up a girl at the bar!
Now he says he won’t let me go.
He says he’s been looking for me.
And that he wants us to be a family.
(Damn, he already has a family).
No…I can’t let my body take over my mind again!
Or can I?

Mi Mom

There’s miscommunication, and there’s being an idiot and not communicating like a child. She needs to grow up and the running away is a huge red flag. I couldn’t get past that to enjoy the rest of the book.
