With a shattered heart, Emerald Hutton flees to New York City for high school. Leaving behind her friends and family to escape him. Her brother’s best friend. Now, seven years later, she returns home. The place where the cold-hearted billionaire resides.
Scarred by his past, Achilles Valencian became the man everyone feared. The scorch of his life filled his heart with crushing darkness. The only light that kept him sane was his Rosebud. The turquoise-eyed girl he’s adored all his life. His best friend’s little sister.
When the time comes to capture his only light back into his territory, Achilles will set a trap. A trap to lure the girl he once lost.
Despite her resistance to save herself from more heartaches, the devil will claim her this time. The girl who was rightfully his.

Honestly, it was fun, but it's not the best... It dragged a lot, and sometimes they could go much faster than they were, but other than that, it's not a bad story... Just needs a bit more work, in my opinion!!

I hated it. I really tried because it's a storyline I like. The writing was awful. The characters were terrible. Emerald was stupid and in no way made a good lead. Ace's character had no development. He was just obsessed and the author did a bad job in portraying it. If I read one more time him saying rosebud, rose or baby to her and everyone called her it BC she was his rosebud, it would be too soon. It's way too long and needs a big edit. I stuck it out just to find out why the bad guy did what he did and then that was anticlimactic. Don't waste your time on this one.

THE TRAP OF ACE by Eva Zahn

    This is a must read.

Loved the characters and the story was well written. Some grammatical mistake but nothing to hindering. Was on an emotional roller coaster from beginning to end. The story had lots of twist and turns. I refused to put it down until I finished it. I hated the end because it was over, I was so emotionally invested that I wanted it to continue.

    LOVED THE STORY!!!

The story of the book is great, the writing is so bad some parts, with bad errors on the English. Had to skip several chapters, and still did'nt miss any it seems. So yeah, should be shorter too
